La Lonja de la Innovación connects leading companies with the investment ecosystem in a successful event

Yesterday, November 25th, La Lonja de la Innovación, a space promoted by the Autoridad Portuaria de Huelva with the support of Telefónica, hosted a new edition of its Demo Day & Meet the Investors

La Lonja de la Innovación, one of the only two FIWARE 3 starts iHubs in the world, held a new edition of its Demo Day & Meet the Investors yesterday, November 25th. This event is the initiative’s most important annual milestone, a meeting designed to connect disruptive companies with investors, industry leaders and change-makers

Once again, La Lonja de la Innovacion was the stage for a day where collaboration, innovation and networking were the protagonists. The event was a great success in terms of attendance, bringing together entrepreneurs, corporate representatives and investors who did not want to miss this key meeting for the ecosystem,

During the event, the assistants had the opportunity to visit the facilities of La Lonja de la Innovación and discover first hand some of the cutting-edge solutions applied to strategic sectors, which took advantage of this showcase to present their projects to potential investors and partners.

Among the investors that attended the event to discover new projects was an outstanding, , high-level list of names such as Austral Venture, Alejandro Villarán, Axon Partners Group, Baliza Capital, CaixaBank, Banco Santander, Briseida Venture, Fundalogy, IB Ventures, Mar Océana Venture Capital, Rembando and Sherry Venture.

The startups and companies which made a presentation of their projects to the investors were: NextPort, Passify, GreenBunkers, Hamsa ID, Iberbox, Kyvrox, Blocknitive, Surcontrol and Sensactive Tech. These presentations represented a wide range of sectors from port logistics to cybersecurity and sustainability.

The inauguration of the event was made by Mafran Martínez, CTO of the Autoridad Portuaria de Huelva. In his speech, he highlighted the work of La Lonja de la Innovación in promoting innovation in the region. He also emphasized the importance of this event in helping participating companies increase their visibility and attract potential investors and customers.

Among other profiles, the event was attended by Adela de Mora, Third Deputy Mayor for Social Services, Family, Employment, Housing, Economic Development, and European Funds; Lucía Núñez, Regional Delegation for Economy, Finance, European Funds, Industry, Energy, and Mines in Huelva; and Javier González Navarro, Director General for Entrepreneurship Promotion and Continuing Education. 

This meeting, attended by a total of more than 100 people, is without a doubt an unique opportunity to discover new business opportunities and connect with industry leaders.
