Following the success of the first edition, this summer the Huelva Port Authority launched the second edition of its ideas competition, open to Port of Huelva employees. The initiative aims to identify innovative proposals to improve port operations, either by offering new services or enhancing existing ones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Once again, the competition has been very well received, with numerous applications demonstrating a high level of expertise, vision, and commitment. This reaffirms the high level of talent within the Huelva Port Authority.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Finally, the jury selected the proposals submitted by C\u00e9sar Cepas P\u00e9rez and Carlos Javier N\u00fa\u00f1ez S\u00e1nchez as the winners. The winners received their awards on October 20 from the President of the Port of Huelva, Alberto Santana, at La Lonja de la Innovaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The first prize was awarded to C\u00e9sar Cepas P\u00e9rez, a port police officer. His proposal was to create a geographic information system providing real-time information about the port's public domain. This would serve as a reference tool, allowing employees, the port community, and even the general public to see what is happening within the port area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The second prize was awarded to Carlos Javier N\u00fa\u00f1ez S\u00e1nchez, a systems technician, for his proposal to create a unique olfactory identity for the Huelva Port Authority through olfactory marketing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Carlos Javier proposes designing a custom aroma to act as the port's sensory signature, capable of evoking the sea breeze, the coast, and memories linked to the sea, thereby strengthening the emotional connection between the institution and its visitors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The project proposes hiring a company specialized in olfactory marketing to develop the fragrance, conduct tests, and select the essence that best represents the identity of the Port of Huelva, which would be diffused in spaces such as offices, reception areas, or the theater.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The second edition of the competition has been a resounding success, not only because of the quantity and quality of the ideas received, but also because it consolidates a dynamic in which Port of Huelva employees become protagonists of internal transformation and innovation, fostering a collaborative and open ecosystem where the creativity and commitment of the team are the key to success.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
